Naja, ich bin nach meiner anfänglichen Euphorie auch wieder zu Windoof zurückgekehrt und nutze Linux nur noch als 2t System.

Zum einen weil unser Linux Workshop ja leider flach gefallen ist und zum anderen weil mit Windoof für den Normal User im Alltag alles etwas einfacher ist.

Linux ist und bleibt mehr etwas für den erfahreneren Anwender mit Ambitionen auch mal etwas selbst zu machen.

Windoof ist für Faule (wie mich) weil man da alles ohne grosse Suche und Eigenengagement serviert bekommt.

Fast alle interessanten Anwendungen, auch in unserer Szene, sind für Windoof gemacht.
Es ist teilweise sehr mühselig vergleichbare Soft oder Anwendungen für Linux zu suchen und zu finden.

Das ist einem oft einfach lästig.
Ist jedenfalls bei mir so.

Ist leider normal.
Nabilo ist auf der VU+ sehr eigen was Skins angeht.
Da funzt noch lange nicht jeder.
Ich nutze im neuen 1.4.5 Image den Standardskin, der gefällt mir eh sehr gut.

Die im online Addon Panel sollten aber auch gehen.

Der neue HDGlass 2.21 funzt auch.
Zeigt nur leider bei gbox nicht die korrekten Daten an.
Sagt immmer Net auch wenn die eigene Karte aktiv ist.

Nutze derzeit mal wieder Nabilo.
Beim VTI fehlt mir die gbox Unterstützung (ECM und Dist Anzeige).

Tun sich so aber nix die 2 Images.

Für den Normalo User würde ich vlt. sogar eher zum VTI raten.
Das Nabilo ist nicht gerade Ressourcen schonend.
